Lent Concerts

During the Lent period I will be involved in two wind band concerts, one as a conductor and the other one as a musician & funeral marches composer.

On Wednesday, 10th of April, I will be conducting the Ghaqda Muzikali San Leonardo, in a concert held at the Kirkop’s Parish Church. Together with some lent reflections, music by Grieg, Lorenc, Webber, mysfelf, amongst others will be played. Soprano Danielle Ciantar & Alexandra Camilleri Gambin will also feature in this concert.

Thursday, 11th April, at Ghaqda Muzikali Marija Bambina, Banda Vittorja, will be holding a concert of funeral marches before the opening of art exhibition “Yeshua”. The concert will start at 7:30pm and will be conducted by the band’s musical director, Roderick Bugeja. During this concert, three of my funeral marches which were recorded in my album “ghaliex?” will be performed.
