Last week, was a great one as two new funeral marches and one new arrangement have been premiered.
The first funeral march to be played was, Le Lacrime Nascoste (The Hidden Tears) and was performed by the Għaqda Mużikali Marija Bambina, Banda Vittorja of Naxxar on Monday 19th during the lent concert “Kollox Mitmum” under the direction of the band’s conductor Roderick Buġeja.

The second funeral march Il Tradimento di Guda (the betrayal of Judah) and Caccini’s Ave Maria for Wind Band & Voice (Mezzo Soprano Francesca Sciberras) was performed on Wednesday, 21st of March during the lent concert “Ecce Mater Tua” by Għaqda Mużikali San Leonardo of Ħal Kirkop under my direction.
